CEMA is pitching select, high-quality, independent tracks to be placed within AAA and mainstream video game franchises including Rockstar Games, Electronic Arts, Ubisoft, Sony Interactive, Activision Blizzard, Epic Games, and Square Enix. Selected tracks may be used in trailers, gameplay sequences, menu screens, cutscenes, in-game radio stations, and promotional media reaching tens of millions of players worldwide.

Music selected will become part of internal sound design libraries used by studio audio directors, editors, music supervisors, and implementation teams. In-game and promotional placement may also include on-screen crediting, digital soundtrack inclusion, and artist attribution (where applicable). Content providers, alongside Rocket City Records, include Sony, Universal, Warner, BMG, and other major licensors. High-energy, immersive, cinematic, thematic, and mood-driven tracks of all genres are welcome.

SUBMISSION CRITERIA:

  • Music must be professionally produced, mixed, and mastered

COMPENSATION:

Compensation ranges from $4,500 – $25,000 USD depending on the studio, usage type, and quantity of tracks licensed. Payment may include upfront sync fees, backend royalties, soundtrack inclusion, promotional usage royalties, and PRO distribution through ASCAP/BMI/SESAC and international CMOs (SoundExchange, PPL UK, etc). Additional revenue opportunities may include trailer bonuses and extended media usage.

SYNC

CEMA is currently pitching independent artists, musicians, composers, producers and music production teams for inclusion in an international micro-sync and commercial library. Approved tracks will be accessible by clients which include, but are not limited to, Nike, Netflix, Google, Mercedes, IKEA, Coca-Cola, Adobe and WiX. CEMA is pre-screening and pitching new talent for use in their in-house productions, TV aired commercials, social media micro commercials (YouTube), corporate internal promotions, TV Ads, Animations, TV Series and more.

The curators are seeking high-quality independent artists, publishers, composers, and producers that have existing tracks that can complement any type of mood, genre, or style to meet their creative needs. Fresh music, fresh creativity, and unique artistry are welcome.

COMPENSATION: 
Licensing rates or per-use payment structures will be offered by the Library curators and legal team. Terms of compensation will be negotiated, mutually agreed upon, and approved by the copyright owners, composers and the company in writing. Upfront sync fees/buy-outs (for non-commercial use/production tracks) will vary based on the project as offered on a case-by-case basis. Royalties will be paid via your P.R.O. (Performance Rights Organization) where applicable. Details, deal memos, terms & conditions will be provided by the creative agency to those who make the final cut.

Impressive production

CEMA has resumed pitching tracks to producers at a top-tier NYC-based production company. The company has requested new music for both ongoing series and upcoming projects in both film and television. Placements may include, but are not limited to, TV series, feature films, documentaries, commercials and multi-media projects. Clients of the company have included MTV reality series, ABC, PBS, Canon, Ralph Lauren, Lexus, Arby’s, Nickelodeon, The History Channel and more.

In-house music curators are looking for high-quality independent artists, publishers and composers with commercial-ready songs or instrumentals that can compliment any number of moods or scenes. Must should be unique, artists are encouraged to take creative risks, stand out and avoid copy-cat/sound-alike tracks.

Smooth project delivery

CEMA has resumed pitching tracks to a production company currently working on multiple Netflix projects. Top tracks will be considered for usage in client’s Netflix productions as well as other projects within their control (TV/Film/Commercial). Music directors/catalog managers are reviewing tracks from independent artists/publishers and composers who have commercial-ready music for the following scenarios and moods (may include period pieces):

– Outdoor Adventure/Action (All Applicable Genres)

– Tracks must be appropriate for the content that it will be supporting.
– Artists must own all copyrights. No uncleared samples, covers, or re-titled tracks.

COMPENSATION: 
Final usage rate will be decided by Production company, dictated by duration of track usage, placement in the production and act/artist draw (MFN applies). All details will be negotiated and mutually agreed upon by copyright owners in writing once final tracks are approved. No transfer of assets will occur.

CEMA is pitching select artists to music supervisors and segment editors for the current NBA season. Broadcasts may include but are not limited to TNT, NBA TV/League Pass, ESPN, ABC, local highlights/recap reels and applicable streaming partners. Editors typically seek high-energy tracks across various genres, new and old releases are accepted. Music may be used during the games, on highlight reels, pre/post game bumps, intro and outro clips, game trailers, and various game-related segments across all Basketball-based outlets both domestic and international.

On-screen chyron credit may be given (where applicable, as determined by the segment editor at the network). CEMA is pitching select artists to editors for the current NFL season that airs on FOX Sports, FOX Deportes and all affiliated Digital NFL outlets. Editors are seeking all genres, new and old releases. Music will be used during the games, on highlight reels, pre/post game bumps, intro and outro clips, game trailers, and many other placements across all football-based outlets.

Usage may include, but is not limited to Monday Night Football, Thursday Night Football (TNF), Sunday Afternoon and Sunday Night Football, Fox Deportes and all NFC regular season and Championship games leading up to the Super Bowl. These placements will air on national TV and dedicated online football sites which may include Fox Sports Apps, FoxSports.com, all social media and re-airings with overseas affiliates. Coverage and Highlight reels historically feature unique, high-energy music to enhance the commentary and visual action of game recaps. CEMA staff will be pitching music starting with pre-season games, through all regular season, championships to the Super Bowl. Staff will be pitching on a first-come, first-served basis.

Selected tracks will be added to sound designers playlists and hand-curated libraries reaching millions of active gym members. Music added to rotation will be heard throughout the entire property and via the gym’s central audio system. On-screen chyron credit and album artwork will be seen on displays as part of the official in-gym entertainment playlist programming (where applicable). Content providers, alongside Rocket City Records, includes Sony, Universal, Warner Music, BMG, Big Machine and more. High-energy, workout-appropriate music of all genres is welcome.
